World Environment Day activity at Tiny Tots Pre School, Talegaon Dabhade

The earlier children learn to care for nature, the longer that value stays with them for life. That is why, at Tiny Tots Pre School, we celebrate World Environment Day with special hands-on activities.

Why Is Environment Day Important?

World Environment Day is celebrated across the globe every year on 5th June. It reminds us how important it is to protect trees, water, cleanliness, and nature. When little children connect with nature early, they grow into responsible citizens of the future.

How Environment Day Is Celebrated at Tiny Tots

  • Children plant small saplings with their own hands — direct contact with soil and nature.
  • Simple stories and songs on the theme “Trees Are Our Friends.”
  • Best out of waste — making beautiful items from waste materials.
  • Save water, put waste in the bin — an introduction to simple good habits.
  • A fun activity where children come dressed in green.

What Children Learn

Children learn to care for nature, develop habits of cleanliness, and build a sense of responsibility. Through planting saplings, they experience the concepts of “growth” and “care” first-hand.
